Every issue rebuilt as it stood on its own day. Each reconstruction is generated with the archive cut off at that date, so the histories, the counts and the totals on it contain nothing published afterwards. Hindsight is removed by construction rather than by promise.
What this cannot do: it reconstructs what this board had RECORDED on a date, not what it could have known. A story nobody here noticed is absent from the past for the same reason it was absent at the time, and these pages cannot tell you the difference.
